Rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy are available to individuals of all ages who are experiencing impaired mobility or function because of injury or disease. Treatment programs are designed to meet individual needs, and are continuously modified and critiqued to change and grow with the individual's progress.
We primarily serve members of Alleghany County including Alleghany Memorial Hospital employees and staff. We treat patients within the hospital that are recovering from injury or disease, as well as referrals on an outpatient basis from Physician's Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Dentist, and Podiatrists. Various services that are offered but not limited to include: Thermo Therepy, Cryptherapy, Massage, Electrical Stimulation, and Therapeutic Exercises. The Rehab Dept. works closly with the Alleghany County Wellness Center to introduce, as well as continual performance improvement. We strive to continue to develop new programs in the areas of Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, functional capacity evaluations and aquadic rehabilitation.
The Rehabilitation Department consists of a Department Manager, Physical Therapist. Physical Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant Coordinator, Occupational therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, and a Speech Pathologist. We are here to serve our patients Monday thru Friday 8:30 am - 4:30pm.
