The Alleghany Memorial Hospital Foundation hold its Annual Edwin Duncan, Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament in June, yearly. All tournament proceeds help Alleghany Memorial Hospital purchase/update equipment. Past purchases have included a Cardiac Monitor System, Ultrasound Machine, and a Mammography Machine.

The tournament is held at the Roaring Gap Club on the beautifully designed Donald Ross course. The golfers, sponsors, contributors of door prizes and gifts, volunteers, and the employees at the Roaring Gap Club all help to make this tournament a huge success year after year.
