Alleghany Memorial Hospital's Volunteer Program was implemented in September 2004. The program was developed to open up opportunities to reach out to the community and provide a "personal touch" to all patients, families, and visitors. Alleghany Memorial is so fortunate to have individuals who are willing to give of their time and assert so much effort in providing the best quality services...with a smile!

Alleghany Memorial currently has volunteers who assist in various areas such as registration, purchasing, financial services and dietary. Customers enjoy being greeted by friendly faces, a friendly word, and a helpful hand. Our volunteers are trained and orientated to the facility and its processes to ensure that they can assist our customers 100%... 100% of the time!
