We dispensed 124,887 pharmaceuticals and clocked 32,695 minutes in the operating room. As impressive as all that sounds, and it is impressive for a rural community hospital, the most important things we provided were hope and loving care. Being there when you're needed the most is unquantifiable, and proves the worth and value of this institution.
In fiscal year 2012, we employed 166 full-time and part-time employees as well as over two dozen contracted workers. We paid almost $6,000,000 in wages and benefits to members of our community, which in turn helped to boost our local economy. We served 7,392 emergency department patients as well as providing 2,832 patient care days in our inpatient unit. We took 11,800 x-rays, and performed 50,811 lab tests.
